Frequently Asked Questions

Why is it called the 30-06?

The name comes from the .30 caliber bullet and the year of adoption, 1906.

What does M1 Garand on a box mean?

It means the load is made to suit that rifle's operating system. Heavier hunting loads may not be recommended for it, so check with the manufacturer.

Is 30-06 the same as 308 Winchester?

No. The 30-06 has a longer case and is a different cartridge, so the two are not interchangeable.
